Digicet will start selling wireless devices in China starting in the first quarter of 2018, according to a company spokesperson.
The company said it will start offering the devices in the country in April and it will roll out the service globally in the second half of 2018.
The company will also be launching its new Digicemaster platform that will allow customers to use its network of more than 6 million wireless connections to make phone calls, send text messages and browse the web.
“Digicel is taking a proactive step to make our business more profitable and secure as it invests in our business to drive long-term growth,” the company said in a statement.
“The Digicomasters service enables customers to access Digicela services, including online shopping, on a smartphone or tablet, which can be used to make purchases, make calls and send and receive messages.
Digicels service will be available in China from the first of April and globally from the second of April.”
